No more trolley for Thabang: Citizen's act of kindness gives youngster new hope

Thabang Sibiya was born with a disability, cerebral palsy, which is known as a developmental disability. He was unable to walk properly and due to financial circumstances, the young boy used a trolley to get around.

Thabang’s sister cares for him as their mother unfortunately passed away in 2013. She helps him get around, eat and tends to all his other general needs. With little support and money, they were unable to ever buy Thabang a wheel chair.

On February the 18th, their lives changed. A kind citizen donated a wheel chair to them, Mr Nkosi.

“I read the article and knew I would be able to assist Thabang with a wheelchair.”

Thabang and his sister were filled with happiness and gratitude. Finally Thabang could get around on his own and this made life a lot easier and more enjoyable for both Thabang and his sister.

“We can never thank you enough Mr Nkosi for what you have done for Thabang, we appreciate it.”

A small act of kindness can change someone’s entire life.
