Maskless 'Karen' Claims Police Brutality but Gets No Sympathy from Bystanders

Terry White visited a Bank of America in Galveston, Texas. She intended on withdrawing her money from her account but the staff refused to serve her.

White refused to wear a mask and the police were eventually called to the bank, she was eventually arrested by the officer and pleaded with unsympathetic bystanders.

She pleaded with onlookers that she was being subjected to police brutality who could be heard over the mic on the bodycam simply saying, no.

The officer's bodycam caught the drama which unfolded as he explained to White that she had to leave and return with a mask before she could be served according to The Daily Dot.

She claimed that a mask was not necessary after the Texas governor Greg Abbott lifted that mak mandate in public places.

The officer explained that the bank was not a public place but a private company that could determine it's own mask policy according to Huffington Post.

White does not believe that Covid-19 is real and refused to wear a mask. The officer eventually arrested her, knocking her to the ground and put her in handcuffs.

She was charged with allegedly resisting arrest and criminal trespass.

Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that a new term has been coined for over-entitled women and men who rage against employees over simple issues. Recently, mask policies in stores have become a bugbear for a lot of 'Karens' particularly in the US. However, now and then a South African 'Karen' hits the headlines.

A woman went ballistic in a Pick 'n Pay in South Africa when the staff asked her to wear a mask. Yusuf Abramjee uploaded a video that was taken which documented the woman's meltdown.

She began shouting about her rights and produced a document in which she claimed that the Constitutional Court declared the lockdown unconstitutional and illegal.

Another woman who was off-camera could be heard sympathising with the Pick 'n Pay employees, saying that they were just doing their jobs and enforce store policy.
