Cobus Roode and Corrie Gordon have upset a lot of their friends with their red political attire.

However, despite backlash from their fellow white people, who dubbed Malema and his party racist, the two men showed their support for the EFF.

According to the two EFF supporters, those who criticise them should give Juju’s party a chance.

“As a white Afrikaner male in this country, I thought about this very hard and very long. And, I decided, you know, something had to be done. I think the EFF is the best alternative at this stage”, Roode said.

And to those who said the EFF is against the whites, Gordon said the party is not racist at all. He added Juju was not going to nationalise everything, only certain sectors in the economy.

On the land expropriation without compensation, which Malema said was non-negotiable for the EFF, Roode said he completely agrees.

The self-proclaimed ‘boerseun’ from the Free State added he supported the way the EFF approached the land redistribution issue.

The two white EFF supporters received mixed reactions from different races on social media, with white people mostly feeling they joined the ‘enemy’s side’.

Some of the black people pointed out the whites’ comments proved the majority of the minority was still racist.
