When Hailey Baldwin and musician Justin Bieber tied the knot in 2018, people argued that they were both too young.

Others thought their nuptials were too rushed and the pair should have dated for a few more years before walking down the aisle.

Hailey has finally spoken about their young marriage and their decision to go for what they wanted in their early 20s.

The model who said “I do” aged 21 told Elle Magazine she and her partner in crime knew they wanted to settle while young.

Their age was never a big deal to them. What mattered most was the fact that they loved each other immensely.

According to Justin’s wife, they have both lived long enough and experienced enough to confidently decide what suits them.

“I was married when I was 21, two months before I turned 22, which is insanely young,” she said.

Hailey admitted that speaking about their age out loud often sounds ridiculous.

“We've seen a lot for our age. We have both lived enough life to know that's what we wanted,” the model added.

In a previous narration by Briefly.co.za, Justin said he wished he never engaged in premarital intercourse.

The Yummy hitmaker opened up about his secrets on the couple's Facebook series called The Biebers on Watch.

The star got hitched to his wife, Hailey, in 2018 and seemed to have some regrets about his life before marriage.

While a new queen is usually crowned every year, 2020 proved itself to be quite a strange one after the coronavirus pandemic hit and put a hold on everything - including the annual Miss Universe crowning pageant.

Taking to Instagram, the South Africa page congratulated Zozi on the achievement in a post that read:

"Extraordinary times call for extraordinary leaders! Today we celebrate Zozi as the longest-reigning Miss Universe! Thank you for taking up space and inspiring us all.”
