Selaelo SJ Kganakga took to Facebook and shared an inspirational story in the #ImStaying group. He revealed that his car sensors were damaged during a car wash and his car made a continuous beeping sound.

He posted on a Potchefstroom Facebook group asking where he could get his car fixed. Warren Badenhorst, a mechanic, inboxed him and said he could bring his car to his workshop and not to worry about the price as it would be a simple fix.

Warren spent his Saturday afternoon fixing Selaelo's car and when he was done it was in perfect working order.

Salaelo thanked Warren and its people like him who make the country a better place.

"On Monday the 15/03/2021 I took my car to the car wash . I collected it later on and sadly didn't go around it to check if all is in order. Later on when I got home and tried parking in the garage, the front sensors couldn't stop beeping, so I came out to check what's happening. I was saddened to see that one of the sensors fell inside, so one of the workers at the car wash must have pushed it hard that it fell inside.
I posted this in the Potchefstroom group asking where I can fix it. Then I had Warren Badenhorst inboxing me saying I should drive by his workshop for him to have a lot at it. We set an appointment for Saturday and when I asked him how much he will need, he said I shouldn't worry about the price as its nothing major for him.

Dear Warren, our country is a better place because of people like you that go around spreading the love. Thanks a lot once again for loving someone you didn't even know and sacrificing your Saturday afternoon.
May God's love and blessings surround you even more. For your act of kindness, may you never experience a lack in your life."

Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that Leigh-Ann Henderson van Rensburg shared an amazing story about how just 5 men have repaired over 400 potholes in the Senekal and Matwabeng community.

This came about after the community decided that they needed to take matters into their own hands and revitalise their towns.

Community volunteers started tidying gardens, repainted road markings, cleaned up areas and repaired potholes.
