Kobe's widow Vanessa and firstborn daughter Natalia decided to get tattoos in memory of the basketball legend and daughter killed in a helicopter crash on January 26, 2020.

On Tuesday, March 23, the two invited one of the most revered tattoo artists, Nikko Hurtado, to get some cool body art that they shared on Instagram.

Vanessa inked the name Mambacita on her forearm, which is a nickname given to the late Gianna due to her basketball talent like her dad.

Her 18-year-old daughter Natalia got the name Muse inked on her finger, which is the name of Kobe's documentary released back in 2015.

The teen got another tattoo on her wrist, which was not clear in videos shared by Vanessa, but according to the specific hashtags she used, the tat could be the word MambaSheath.

Vanessa and Natalia appeared to have had a lot of fun doing the tattoos as they shared laughs and teased each other with the tattoo artist's help.

Vanessa thanked Nikko for agreeing to her call and it is reported that he has also worked on several other tattoos on the mother of four's body.

Recently, Briefly.co.za reported that the widow rebuked rapper Meek Mill for a line in his song that she found to be very insensitive towards her late husband.

Meek - in a collabo with Lil Baby - is reported to have rapped the line below:

"Yeah, and if I ever lack, I'm goin' out with my chopper, it be another Kobe (sic)."

This line infuriated the mother of four who reacted, saying:

"Dear @meekmill, I find this line to be extremely insensitive and disrespectful. Period. I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than this."

She also advised that if Meek was a fan of her late hubby, there was always a better way to show his admiration, but the line lacked respect and tact.

Meek later apologised to the family and went on social media to note that his apology was made in person, not social media.
