- Issa Rae's Hoorae media label will now produce content to be aired on HBO and Warner Bros brands, exclusively

US actress Issa Rae has inked a one-of-a-kind deal with HBO and WarnerMedia to produce TV shows and films for the said houses.

The deal sees HBO and Warner Bros. get exclusive rights to Rae's work in TV, done through her company Hoorae media label.

The giant media company, WarnerMedia, will also get a first-look film deal for all her work which will be showcased in their other brands.

According to Variety, the deal is valued at $40 million over five years, which sees Rae match other top earners in content creation like Donald Glover, who has a lucrative deal with Amazon.

Previously, Rae had a three-year deal with HBO during the Insecure series' early stages, signed in 2018.

Rae noted she was happy to deepen the relationship she has with the said companies, which believed in and built on her vision.

HBO first discovered Rae in 2011 after producing her web series dubbed The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl, and they have supported her ever since.

In other Hollywood news, Briefly.co.za reported that Vin Diesel's son, Vincent Sinclair, has joined the Fast & Furious franchise.

The 10-year-old will portray the younger version of his dad's character, Dominic Toretto, in the ninth series of the movie.

He reportedly filmed his scenes in late 2019 when he was still nine. He will make his film acting debut on June 25 when the movie comes out. Vincent's contract notes he got paid a daily rate of $1,005. The movie will hit the big screens on June 25, 2021.

In other news, there seems to be no limit to Master KG's ability to accumulate wins. The music producer is currently in the Dominican Republic and recently hung out with Hollywood heavyweight and star of The Fast and The Furious franchise, Vin Diesel.

The international reach of Master KG's track Jerusalema cannot be overstated if it managed to meaningfully reach some of Hollywood's biggest names.
