Big Zulu Slams Criticism of Riky Rick’s 'Imali Eningi' Verse

- Rapper Big Zulu recently gave MacG a piece of his mind when the podcaster suggested that some on the hit song Imali Eningi were not pulling their weight

- MacG told Big Zulu that many have said that Riky Rick's verse was not needed on the song

Big Zulu recently spoke out about the success of his song Imali Eningi and the commentary that has followed.

Speaking on MacG’s podcast, Big Zulu was asked if he felt that Riky Rick was needed on the track. MacG even went on to say that Big Zulu himself was not needed on the song.

The rapper took offence to those words and responded by saying that whoever feels that Riky Rick sucks on the song is mad.

He also added that MacG himself was mad for suggesting he wasn’t necessary on his own song.

Meanwhile Briefly.co.za previously reported that Big Zulu's new song Inhlupheko has hit Number 1 on iTunes. The rapper only dropped the track on 12 March, 2021. He features singer Mduduzi Ncube.

The star took to Twitter recently to share a screenshot of iTunes where his new single was sitting comfortably at the Number 1 spot. According to the screenshot, his massive hit Imali Eningi was sitting at Number 2. Inkabi captioned his post:

"Nkabi Nation, Inhlupheko is sitting on number 1, Mali Eningi number 2. The biggest songs in SA. Siyabonga kakhulu. Nkabi Records."

The musician also took to Instagram on Tuesday, 23 March and shared that Inhlupheko's music video has hit 200 000 views in just three days. He wrote:

"Inhlupheko sitting on 200K views in 3 Days. Siyabonga Nkabi Nation. The video is on YouTube."

In related news, Briefly.co.za reported that Big Zulu has been basking in the success of his song Imali Eningi and his album is selling pretty well too.

Inkabi took to social media to share that his album Ungqongoshe Wongqongqoshe had reached gold status. Big Zulu thanked his fans for their undying support and how they helped him reach gold for his album.

"Nkabi Nation Ungqongqoshe Wongqongqoshe album usethengise gold (sold gold). Ngiyabonga Kakhulu (thank you so much) Nkabi Records," he said.
