Sho Madjozi proves that she's no one hit wonder

Sho Madjozi has released a new single, Huku, which is blowing up the airwaves. This goes to prove that the new rapper has some serious staying power.

What makes the song stand out from the competition is that it is sung in Xitsonga. She produced the song with a young man in Port Elizabeth called Msiyana.

Briefly.co.za learned that this shows that Madjozi is versatile and able to change her style and formula. She had previously worked with PS DJZ on Dumi Hi Phone according to zalebs.co.za.

Currently, the song is only available on Apple Music and will be released on other platforms in seven days time.

Sho Madjozi's real name is Maya Wegerif and she started out as a poet who specialised in the spoken word under the alias Maya Wegerif. She had previously focused on topics such as race, identity and politics.
