Fikile Mbalula appoints himself as new the minister of Black Twitter

A new Parliament has arisen in South Africa, one that exists on social media and the imagination of former member of parliament Fikile Mbalula.

He resigned as a member of parliament today and was quick to announce his now position as a full member of black Twitter. This comes shortly after he was removed as minister of police and redeployed to Luthuli House to conduct the ANC's campaign to retain their dominant position in Parliament.

Tweeps reacted with mixed emotions ranging from disbelief, joy and outrage.

Tweeps were quick to react and made sure that his appointment was above board.

Some people thought i necessary to offer the former minister of police and member of parliament some advice.

Twitter users also wanted to make it clear that there are no reshuffles without consultation.
