Nasty C has taken to social media to react to an imposter who tried to scam his friends and fans out of money.

The rapper took to Instagram on Tuesday, 30 March and shared a screenshot of a direct message the impersonator sent to an unnamed victim. The There They Go hitmaker captioned his post:

"If anyone of my actual friends fall for this I’m really just gonna laugh at you."

The fake account claimed to be the musician's private account. The scammer said he had reached his bank limit and wanted to borrow R3 000 from the victim. The trickster also sent a snap of Nasty C attempting to prove that it was indeed the rapper.

In other entertainment news, Briefly.co.za reported that Big Zulu has shared his thoughts on Nasty C's album name, Zulu Man With Some Power. The Imali Eningi hitmaker made the comments during a recent interview on MacG's Podcast and Chill.

MacG asked Big Zulu whether the There They Go hitmaker was misappropriating the Zulu culture by calling himself "Zulu Man With Some Power".

"He is our child who is overseas doing what he has to do. He has his own way of doing things, I don’t think we should have a problem."

The rapper said he respects Nasty C because he is representing the country overseas, especially in the US. Nota Baloyi previously said that Nasty C’s album title would fit Big Zulu. At the time, Big Zulu's single Imali Eningi was on high rotation on radio and TV.
