Based in Cape Town, Siphesihle Hlophe is now a graduate of nursing and he has also decided to share his latest accomplIshment with his social media followers.

Hlophe is one of those graduates who have opted to make their academic excellence known by the world, especially by fellow South Africans.

Under challenging times forced by the coronavirus pandemic and unemployment rates going up, focusing on education has become very important to maximise the chances of employability - and Hlophe is not an exception.

Going by the name of @NurseHlophe on Twitter, he is based in Cape Town but from Pietermaritzburg and adheres to the notion that education is a marriage that has no divorce.

Earlier this week, he graduated with a postgraduate diploma in nursing from the University of Stellenbosch. He said on Twitter:

"Postgraduate diploma in nursing health and service management."

Taking a look at the comments section, his friends congratulated him with many saying he has made education so fashionable.

@Tznjambatwa said:

“I am so proud of you, such an inspiration.”

@Blessin54578886 congratulated his fellow:

“Congratulations zalo (cousin), keep up the good work there!”

@Nuttycbia believes the account holder has been working hard and deserves the fruits of his toil:

“I applied for the same course October 2020... only got response now in March after I have been following up non-stop... US (University of Stellenbosch) has really disappointed me .”

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported on a story about a Namibian woman going by the name of Ndatega Asheela-Shikalepo who celebrated her academic achievement.

Asheela-Shikalepo was also accepted by the High Court of Namibia. Asheela-Shakalepo's recent milestone was penned by Varsity World, an online publication seeking to celebrate academic excellence.

The website has detailed Asheela-Shakalepo's journey to stardom, saying that she was conferred with a Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Pretoria.
