The four are Mary Ella, Tocoma, Xavier and Shawn. Tashera and DMX went separate ways after 11 years of marriage when she filed for divorce in 2013, citing DMX's infidelity.

With regards to his condition, a report by media outlet TMZ revealed that it took about 30 minutes for doctors to resuscitate the 50-year-old, a period during which he remained deprived of oxygen.

According to family members, that long duration of oxygen deficiency had a severe impact on his brain, which makes things look anything but good. There are conflicting reports on whether his brain has some activity or is in a vegetative state, but medics have expressed concern that he may not come out alive.

The talented rapper has struggled with substance and alcohol use since he was a teenager, something that saw him check into rehab on several occasions. Perhaps the most baffling thing about the news of his overdose is that he had cleaned up and worked so hard towards maintaining sobriety.
