MEC Rob Tooley: Malema and Masondo are the crooks that lead the province to bankruptcy

Rob Tooley, Limpopo's finance MEC made an accusation against the EFF’s leader Julius Malema along with former Finance MEC David Masondo, saying that they were the ones who sent the province into bankruptcy.

Tooley claims that contracts for public works were given out without the correct due processes being taken and has thus sent them into bankruptcy.

A report by ENCA.com revealed that the Limpopo province was put under administration on 5 December 2011 by the former minister of finance, under administration.

He agrees that he was not a direct witness to the corruption but is the one who has to bear the brunt of these illegal ongoing with the province being put under administration.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Tooley has made statement that the province is financially stable despite it being under administration.

Aside from Tooley’s statement, the national government has labeled the province bankrupt and stated that it can no longer even run its affairs.

However, Mathale said that the province is in an overdraft situation and were placed under administration for political reasons.
