Both David Mabuza and Cyril Ramaphosa have publicly called for Julias Malema to return to the ANC. A year ago the idea would have seemed impossible a year ago.
The recent shifts in the political alliances in South Africa have the EFF and the ANC seemingly pursuing the same goals.
Briefly.co.za learned that this was seen when the ANC supported the EFF's call for land expropriation without compensation in the National Assembly according to thesouthafrican.com.
Free education has also been approved by the ruling party which is another of the EFF's key policy's.
The ANC appears to go even further and welcome Malema back into their ranks. Ramaphosa extended the invitation to the Malema and the members of the EFF.
Malema was expelled in 2012 after helping Jacob Zuma ascend to power in Polokwane. He was kicked out for bringing the party into disrepute.
In the same year, Malema founded his own party, the Economic Freedom Fighters. During the voter registration drive, this weekend Mabuza said that the ANC would be better off with Malema on their side and Ramapohosa agreed.
