- Controversial South African artist, Rasta, recently headed online to share a snap of the tribute painting he made for US rapper DMX

- In the post, Rasta sits beside the admittedly strangely executed painting of what is meant to be DMX while he was performing

- Mzansi did not think much of Rasta's work and were soon in the comment section demanding to know why Rasta painted the rapper so poorly

If there's one thing South Africans can count on after someone passes away, it's a painting from Rasta and some criticism from those who await his work. Heading online @AdvoBarryRoux shared a snap of Rasta's latest work - a painting of late US rapper, DMX.

In the snap, Rasta sits next to the recently completed painting of DMX that shows the rapper on stage holding a mic while his head is bowed. On the same canvas is DMX who looks like he is praying.

"If Rasta was a police scatch artist, South Africa would be sitting with a lot of wrongful convictions and lawsuits," @advobarryroux captioned the post.

Briefly News also reported that Rasta the artist has struck again but this time we all feel the same. He's created a touching piece of artwork as a tribute to the recently retired newsreader Noxolo Grootboom.
