After the tragic passing of AKA's fiancée Nelli Tembe, the rapper's friends have offered their support to him during these trying times. Mzansi rappers L-Tido and Okmalumkoolkat showed their love to AKA on social media and asked that the rapper receives strength.

L-Tido reacted to Nelli's death and called AKA his brother, asking God to give him strength as he comes to terms with her untimely passing.

“Lord please give my brother AKA strength, please! This is way too painful,” he said.

L-Tido also took to Instagram and shared a picture of AKA and his team holding their hands in prayer, which is a ritual he normally does before he does live performances.

Okmalumkoolkat made it clear that he was keeping the Tembe and Forbes families in his prayers and sent his love on social media. The rapper posted a snap of AKA's lobola negotiation day and captioned it:

“Prayers up to the Forbes x Tembe family. Our prayers are with you in these trying times,” said the rapper.

Fans are also sending support to AKA after his loss and have been paying tribute to the gorgeous Nellie on social media.

Briefly News previously reported that AKA's fiancée Nelli Tembe's memorial service is to take place on Thursday. The love of AKA's life, Nelli Tembe passed away tragically on Sunday morning and her memorial service is going to take place on Thursday.

The 22-year-old's body has arrived in her hometown, Durban. Nelli's body left Cape Town and arrived in Durban, accompanied by AKA at the King Shaka International Airport according to reports. The memorial service is going to be streamed live so that people can pay their respects.

A funeral is expected to be held later this week but details are yet to be released by the Tembe and Forbes families.
