'Queen' Skolopad and Zodwa Wabantu have both had their fair share of eyebrow raising moments.
And, although the South African stars are similar in many ways, there can be only one queen of controversy.
It's known that the two entertainers do not like each other. Reports of the feud surfaced after Wabantu refused to take a picture with Skolopad at an award ceremony.
“Skolopad says she sings. I don’t sing. Even on her Instagram, I don’t see exactly what she is about. Is she after money or what? She’s just there… (Saying things like) Euphonik I want to help you get over Bonang and stuff. She goes to every award ceremony for the sake of it, nominated or not. There’s nothing wrong with that, its her thing. She’s here for the fame, I am here for the money. That is why we don’t mix,” Wabantu explained.
Criticism about their clothing and influence on young South African females
The award show was not the only place where the two entertainers got slammed for their choice of attire.
It was reported last year September that Skolopad was kicked out of restaurant for wearing inappropriate clothing.
But by the looks of it, she was not bothered by the negative attention since her social media accounts are filled with risqué photographs.
One could never forget when Skolopad showed up to the 2017 Feather Awards in a dress made of 'wors'. At the same event, Wabantu showed up without underwear in a green emerald dress, and she flashed the cameras.
And like her rival, Zodwa Wabantu has also been slammed for the way she dressed. As Briefly.co.za reportedly previously, former president Jacob Zuma blasted Wabantu for her clothing choices and the way she encouraged young women to use their bodies for cash.
However, Wabantu responded she would not change herself for anyone, not even the president.
Okay, so it's no secret they do not care to show off skin in their outfits, but Wabantu and Skolopad also have no problem baring it all.
The dance moves
Both Skolopad and Wabantu are known for their sexy dance moves. Wabantu even decided to take her racy dancing to the States with an exclusive tour.
Although some people accuse them of 'selling' themselves by exposing so much of their bodies, the queens of controversies feel like they are only expressing who they are.
But, despite the haters, Skolopad and Wabantu have each reached success in their respective entertainment careers.
