Somizi has posted a comment and video on Instagram, from his trip to Amsterdam, featuring South African ballet dancer, Leroy Mokgatle.
The media personality is in Europe with his bae and two friends for an epic holiday, and while there, he got the opportunity to meet Leroy and watch him dance.
In his post, Somizi mentioned that he had the opportunity to watch Leroy perform at the age of 10, and he simply couldn't pass up the opportunity to meet him in person eight years later.
In 2016, at the age of 16, Leroy won the audience choice award and a scholarship at the international ballet competition “Prix de Lausanne” held in Switzerland.
Briefly.co.za understood the award is the first to be given to a South African in 28 years, and only the second to be awarded in the competition's 44 year history.
Watching Somizi's video of the talented young ballet dancer, it's not hard to see why he's now dancing with the Dutch National Ballet Academy.
It's also easy to see why Somizi is so proud of our South African talent.
