Somizi Mhlongo has always been vocal on social media about not tolerating bullying and now the comments are coming back to haunt him. The media personality has been saying that he bullies people back and even launched a campaign with "I'm not bullable" T-shirts.

Somizi has now backtracked on his statement after social media users criticised the idea of fighting bullies by bullying them back. Just last week, Somizi tweeted:

"Bullying is real and especially in the social media streets. Twitter being the most toxic app. It's never too late to be kind. Bullies can be helped only if they accept that they need help."

Then, Twitter user @hrh_PrincessB asked Somizi to revise his statement of bullying people back because it's just as toxic. She replied:

"Then in the end we have a society infested with bullies. Because one is bullied they too should turn into a bully. Revisit and revise this Somga."

Somizi then responded and said that he will rethink his statement and come back with a healthier alternative:

"I completely agree with you and I'm gonna change it. When I printed the T-shirt, the message came from a place of anger and frustration of being constantly bullied by sending a message that if you're a bully you have come to a dead-end with me."
"Thanks for your perspective," he said.

Briefly News previously reported that Somizi Mhlongo visited the family of a LGBTQI victim of bullying and hate crime. Media personality Somizi Mhlongo took a flight to Gqeberha so he could show support to Lulu Ntuthela's family.

Lulu was allegedly attacked and murdered for being gay. Since he is also part of the LGBTQI community, Somizi wants to be there for Lulu's family. He tweeted:

"Flew to Gqeberha this morning to give support to the family of the brutally murdered member of our LGBTIQ+ fam LULU... I'll be back on the 1st June for the court hearing."
