Nandi is heartbroken that people who are part of the LGBTQI community are being treated this way and hopes that things will get better for them soon.

Same-sex marriage has been allowed in South Africa since 2006 but some people are still not welcoming people who are homosexual.

Recently, a man named Lulu Ntuthela was attacked and brutally killed and this caused outrage from the community. Queer people in Mzansi find it hard to be safe because some people are not welcoming.

In other entertainment news, Briefly News reported that Somizi Mhlongo visited the family of an LGBTQI victim of bullying and hate crime. Media personality Somizi Mhlongo took a flight to Gqeberha so he could show support to Lulu Ntuthela's family.

Lulu was allegedly attacked and murdered for being gay. Since he is also part of the LGBTQI community, Somizi wants to be there for Lulu's family. He tweeted:

"Flew to Gqeberha this morning to give support to the family of the brutally murdered member of our LGBTIQ+ fam LULU... I'll be back on the 1st June for the court hearing."

Somizi feels that he needs to show his support as a public figure and is doing his best to show up for the LGBTQI community.
