Imagine trying to make a living and then getting attacked by shameless thugs who think its okay to take things that don't belong to them by force - for some hawkers in Qwaqwa, this is a sad reality.

A truly heartbreaking clip shared online by a Twitter user with the handle, @alfred_cabonen shared a clip of a group of hawkers being robbed by thugs who make off with their goods in broad daylight but not before putting up a fight.

"Gangsters in Qwaqwa doing as they wish," the poster captioned the clip.

Locals meanwhile had this to say:
