Legendary rock music star, songwriter and producer Jim Steinman is dead.

Briefly News has learnt that the star, who wrote hit songs for bands such as Meat Loaf, Bonnie Tyler, Céline Dion and Air Supply, died at 83. According to TMZ, the celebrated musician died on Monday, April 19 in Connecticut.
The state's medical examiner confirmed the musician's death but did not disclose the cause. Many people who eulogised the revered rock musician stated that the death was sudden.
Briefly News has. however, learnt that a medical emergency call was made from the musician's home on Sunday, April 18, at about 3.30am. TMZ reported that the call was made to request transport to move a male patient to the hospital.
Briefly News understands that Steinman had suffered a stroke in 2004 and had temporarily lost his ability to speak.
Many people took to different social media platform to mourn the late star, among them, screenwriter Brian Lynch, who paid tribute to Steinman on Twitter.
"I listen songs that he's written on a weekly basis, but I think this week is gonna be nothing but Jim Steinman greatness. This means my writing will be a lot more epic and I'll probably at one point grab my lady, shoot into the air, and attempt to pick a fight the sun." Lynch wrote.
The late Steinman was mostly known for his work for bands such as Meat Loaf's 1977 debut album Bat Out of Hell, which has been one of the bestselling albums of all time.
Steinman also collaborated on the 1993 album Bat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell, by writing and producing the hit, I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That).
Briefly News previously reported that workers at the Texas factory of Tesla - global electric car-making giants - couldn't hide their amazement as the second world richest man, Elon Musk, recently called in at the facility in stunning fashion.
In photos shared on Twitter by a Tesla investor identified as Anuarbek Imanbaev, Musk arrived at the gigafactory in a Cybertruck and a punk hairstyle.
The billionaire, according to Hindustantimes, was at the facility to speak to workers who manufacture electric cars.
