Putuma Tiso Opens Up About Life Amid Pandemic: “Tough but God Is Good”

Music artist and songwriter Putuma Tiso recently had a chat with Briefly News about the effects of the pandemic and her plans to rebuild and regroup as the world slowly adjusts to a new normal.

The hardest hit by the pandemic was her wallet. She said:

“Money-wise, the pandemic has hit hard. Financially I did not have much but I can boldly say that God has taken care of me.”

The woman is a devout Christian and believes that all things are in God’s plan, even when they appear difficult at the time.

Speaking about the pandemic, Putuma said:

“Things have been tough but God is good.”

She said that perhaps God was reminding us that He is able.

“If He can shut the world so easily, He can do anything. I think we have forgotten that. We have forgotten about God.”

The musician also had message of hope for those feeling despondent during this time:

“Psalm 46 vs 10 says ‘Be still and know that I am God’. There is a reason we go through difficulties. But we need to trust in the the Lord and know that He will get us through it.”

Putuma has also been working on something that she can’t wait to release to restore hope in the country. The Gqeberha-born and raised artist and songwriter will be offering a live recording of her latest album.

Titled Sacred Moments will be recorded at Joburg Theatre on May 2 under Putuma Productions. Putuma says the album was supposed to be released last year already but was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In the midst of it all, she is calling everyone to go back to the maker and restore broken hearts with her spiritual message.

Meanwhile, Briefly News previously reported that Zodwa Wabantu was serious when she shared her aspirations to sell chickens and eggs. The media personality took to social media to share a video of herself with her fowl.

Since Ramaphosa basically shut down the entertainment industry, Zodwa said that she would be turning to poultry livestock to make a living.

In the footage she shared, Zodwa could be seen picking up a live chicken while talking about her new endeavour. Her fans have promised to support her new hustle.
