Multi Talented: Muvhango's Vho Susan Features in Hot New Song

Muvhango actress Maumela Mahuwa, most popularly known as Vho Susan, is back in the music studio. The talented actress has linked up with award-winning filmmaker, media tertiary institution founder, musician and author Dr Frank to drop a hot song, which is in his new album.

The track, called I Don’t Mind, features the Muvhango actress, who has been getting serious about her singing career recently.

Another famous name on the album called is Limpopo singer and actress Candy Tsamandebele.

Meanwhile, Briefly News previously reported that Muvhango actress Maumela Mahuwa turned 41 years old recently. The star plays the role of Susan in the popular SABC 2 soapie.

Her character is the wife of Chief Azwindini. She has been with the telenovela since it premiered back in 1997. Her role is one of the leading roles as the show is centred around the life of Chief Azwindini.

The multi-talented artist is also a gospel singer. Maumela is one of the most-loved singers as she also preaches during her performances.

The preacher is also loved for her selflessness. She launched a film school called AACA a few years back to help aspiring filmmakers and writers.

Briefly News reported that the film school has kept her very busy but not busy enough to stop preaching the Word of God. Being a preacher is one of Maumela’s greatest gifts and she expressed that it is something she will never stop doing.

In other news, Regina Nesengani, who plays the part of vho-Masindi, Chief Azwindini’s mother, in the popular SABC 2 drama Muvhango, was conferred with a PhD degree recently. The actress was awarded the accomplishment by the University of South Africa, (UNISA).

The 65-year-old actress is living proof that one is never too old to pursue their dreams. The doctorate degree is in languages, linguistics and literature.
