American filmmaker Tyler Perry has finally received some recognition for his humanitarian work during the Covid-19 pandemic. Tyler has been committed to creating a safe environment for workers during the pandemic.

"He has quietly and steadily focused on humanitarian and social justice causes from the beginning of his career, caring for people who are most often ignored," said Academy President David in a statement earlier in 2021.

According to a report by CNN, the academy feels that Tyler Perry was instrumental in creating a safe way to return to production during the pandemic.

As he was accepting his award, Tyler Perry spoke about how his intention would always be to help others. He also shed light on what his wishes are for the future. Tyler remained humble during his acceptance speech.

"Anyone who wants to stand in the middle, no matter what's around the walls, stand in the middle because that's where healing happens, that's where conversations happen, that's where change happens. It happens in the middle," he said.

The director also said that he wants to teach children to refuse to accept hate and just wants the world to be a better place for everyone involved. Briefly News congratulates Tyler on his achievement.

The actor-cum-film director shared a selfie along with a caption describing his unfortunate circumstances. The 51-year-old said that he was still single and was clearly not pleased about it. The lengthy caption read:

“This is what a midlife crisis looks like. I’m 51, single and wondering what the next chapter in my life will look like. Whatever it looks like, I’m going to walk with God, be the best father and man I can be, hold my head up high and try to look my best doing it!!”
