2017 celeb feuds: Who's still at war and who's at peace?

We are well into 2018 and a lot has changed in Mzansi. Back in 2017, there were quite a few celebrity battles which were fought on social media.

A few months after the dust has settled some of the celebs have buried the hatchet and other are still at war.

Briefly.co.za looks at who has kissed and made up and who are still seething with anger.

Lerato Kganyago vs Thickleeyonce

It started with a tweet in which Thickleeyonce called Lerato out for bullying. Twitter users discovered that Thickleeyonce was guilty of making fun of Lerato years ago. This resulted in a major online spat.

Fortunately, these two have mended their fences and are friends again.

Cassper vs DJ Maphorisa

DJ Maphorisa started the spat when he questioned Cassper's claim that he sold 10-million copies of his album. Cassper blocked Maphorisa. Oskido intervened and smoothed things over.

The two aren't friends but they aren't fighting anymore.

Robert Marawa vs Fikile Mbalula

Robert claimed that Fikile tried to have him fired from Metro FM and Mbalula threatened legal action. The DJ and the former police minister were ready to go to war.

Oskida the celebrity peacemaker tried to work his magic but it appears there is still beef between the two.

Bonang vs Somizi

They used to be BFFs but when Bonang released her autobiography which revealed details about how the two fell out of favour with each other.

Somizi was furious and wanted Bonang to remove his name from the book. What seemed like an irreconcilable breakdown in communications turned out to have a happy ending, the two are friends again.

Zodwa vs Skolopad

Zodwa and Skolopad were not on good terms in 2017. Zodwa didn't want Skolopad associated with her brand and refused to even have her photo taken with her.

Bonang vs Lasizwe

Bonang has very little chill when it comes to other celebs who rub her the wrong way. When Lasizwe made fun of Bonang's book in one of his skits she blocked him causing a mini-Twitter cold war between the two.

The two still haven't really made up and new allegations are being levelled against each of them.

Sizwe Dhlomo vs Vusi Thembekwayo

Sizwe posted a tweet on what he thought about the taxi strike last year. Vusi posted a Facebook video using the same points. Sizwe accused Vusi of stealing his ideas.

The two are still at war and hostilities are likely to continue for some time.
