A young man, Akuma Felix Emeka, has allegedly been poisoned by his pregnant former girlfriend just a week to his wedding.

Emeka, aged 34, who is a graduate of the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture in Nigeria was found dead in a car with a woman alleged to be his ex-girlfriend.

In a Facebook post by Maria Ude Nwachi, she claimed Emeka's ex-girlfriend allegedly invited him out for a drink on April 3, exactly one week to his wedding, adding that the duo passed away after consuming the drink.

In a video making the rounds online, Emeka and his former girlfriend could be seen lying dead in the car.

The news of Emeka's demise, who was supposed to tie the knot to his fiancée on April 11, has sent shock waves on social media, and many have commented to commiserate with his family and fiancée.

Earlier, Briefly News reported that Ayanda Ncwane made a shocking revelation on The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) when she said that she does not eat prepared food.

The widow hinted that she was worried that it could be poisoned as she believed her late husband was a victim of poisoning.

Ncwane refuses to eat at events or gatherings and makes a deal to arrive late so she can miss the food being served. Ayanda went on to say that she would not eat food unless she saw it being prepared.

In other news, a recent report said that a key witness in the murder case of Senzo Meyiwa has died due to being poisoned. According to the report, Thabang Makeleni was poisoned late last year shortly after he made a deposition to new investigators that linked five suspects to the case.

In 2014 Makeleni was a student who lived in Vosloorus, Gauteng. His home was not too far from Kelly Khumalo's mother Ntombifuthi Khumalo's house. According to the report, Makeleni told the police that five people had shown up at Khumalo’s mother’s house on the night Meyiwa was murdered.
