The public humiliation happened on TV, and people were surprised that the judge could actually put the boys down as he did.

Now, well-wishers in Uganda rallied up behind the four boys and supported them, with some pledging to nurture their talent and manage them.

Their story was shared on various outlets, with netizens giving their opinions concerning their matter.

This is what The Daily Monitor shared on Facebook:

"Here they are seen in spot clean bathroom robes chilling in an unnamed hotel each sipping on a chilled drink!" Shared Jack Atwiine on Facebook.

Below are some of the comments from netizens:

@Daphne Ruta Keitetsi said:

"We should thank Alex for telling them otherwise they would not be where they are. Secondly have they even learnt how to keep clean and not smell again or this is short-lived?"

@ Patience Arinaitwe commented:

"They are now clean l guess they really scrubbed themselves very well. The guy who told them that they were smelling instead promoted them indirectly."

@Asaba Debz Kweteisa asked:

"Are they single? Asking for a friend."

@Osiel Godfrey said:

"How strong was that smell anyway? If you saw the distance between the judge (Mukulu) and the young boys, it was like 5m away. How sensitive was his nose by the way? Could we assume that his mind was the one that made him say such words based on the look and attire of the boys? That aside, it was rude and uncalled for to embarrass the young boys, the best way to approach such if there was smell anyway was to speak to them backstage."

A week ago, Briefly News reported about a young girl who went viral after missing a spot for a TV audition for a role.

It was later established that the young woman identified as Fezile was a Wimpy employee with a dream of becoming an actress.
