Widow (43) goes back to school to qualify as a teacher, inspires tweeps

A Twitter user took to the site to congratulate her sister on qualifying as a teacher and getting a job.

Noma posted that her sister was widowed at the young age of 34, decided to return to studying at 38, and at 43, she has just signed her employment contract to become a teacher.

Briefly.co.za learned that Noma recalls her sister working as a domestic worker during 1996 and 1997 in order to pay her student fees.

However, she dropped out in her third year, when she became a wife and mother.

In true South African spirit, tweeps have responded to Noma's post to say how inspired they are by her sister's achievements.
