The gorgeous South African born actress Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha-Raw has recently graced the cover of British Vogue, the April 2018 edition.
Her name means pride in Zulu and has starred in a number of major Hollywood pictures including Doctor Who, Black Mirror, Beauty and the Beast, Beyond the Lights and Belle.
Briefly.co.za learned that Mbatha-Raw's father is South African and her mother is British. She is not just a pretty face and has been awarded the Order of the British Empire in 2017. This award is reserved British citizens who make an exceptional contribution to the arts and sciences.
She does not possess dual citizenship and only has her British citizenship, her dad renounced his SA citizenship when he became a British citizen.
