South African musician Big Zulu has proven that he is not a one-hit wonder. The rapper and actor is slowly gaining a loyal fan base who make sure that his music charts.

He recently announced that he has reached one million followers on Facebook.

The grateful musician thanked his fans, the Nkabi Nation, for consistently supporting him:

"Nkabi Nation. Ngiyabonga kakhulu Big Zulu has Reached 1MILLION FOLLOWERS on FACEBOOK. Ngiyabonga kakhulu Nkabi."

Meanwhile Briefly News previously reported that Big Zulu is enjoying the wave he's currently on and is celebrating reaching one million views for his latest single, Inhlupheko featuring Mduduzi Ncube. The song seems to be touching the hearts of many in Mzansi because of its spiritual sound and meaning.

What makes this achievement special is that Big Zulu reached these numbers in just two weeks. Taking to social media, Big Zulu told his fans that he is thankful for their support. He wrote:

"Nkabi Nation. Inhlupheko 1 MILLION VIEWS in two weeks. Ngiyabonga kakhulu."

Inhlupheko is one of the most Shazam-ed songs in the country following its release and Big Zulu has reached platinum status with some of the songs he's already released such as Imali Eningi, Ama Million, Vuma Dlozi and Isiginci.

Big Zulu has also hinted that he's currently working on an album which he is going to release some time this year. He doesn't want to let the hype die down too much and is working with a number of artists to keep the momentum going.

As humble as he is, Big Zulu is not shy to celebrate his success. After all, he has been trying to make it for a long time and it's finally happening.

Zakwe is a rapper who hails from KwaMashu, KwaZulu-Natal. Big Zulu describes Zakwe as his brother and says that they go way back.
