Mzansi celebrity Ntsiki Mazwai is not one to mince her words and finds herself throwing shade from time to time. This time, Ntsiki took to social media to give her opinion about the casting choices in American productions and what it takes for an African to make it there.

"To be accepted as an actor in America, you have to play the slave. Basically cooning," said Ntsiki.

Ntsiki didn't specifically point out who she was talking about but social media users made the assumption that she was talking about Thuso Mbedu's latest role in The Underground Railroad.

Thuso's character Cora is a slave in the Amazon series. Mzansi is amped for Thuso but Ntsiki doesn't seem to be convinced by celebrities getting roles overseas, she feels that they have to be 'coons' to get a chance to shine in the US.
