People worldwide are praising a female councillor, Onem Tyna Miracle, in Nigeria who many have said is a perfect example of the selflessness politicians should show. Photos shared on social media showed the former state of a bridge which had been built with planks to create a makeshift passage.

According to a Facebook user, Ugo Egbujo, who posted the photos online, she used funds meant for a new car to get the project done.

Other snaps displayed the concrete bridge that is presently in place. It is far better than the former where users have to take careful steps.
