In other news, Briefly News has been reporting on the murder of Lindani Myeni. The father of two died earlier this month after he was gunned down by police who responded to a burglary in progress call.

During a press conference at the Union Buildings this week, Lindsay Myeni accused police of attacking her husband without identifying themselves as law enforcement.

"They (the police) abused their rights and shot him dead because he had a heavy Zulu/English accent and was a black man," says Lindsay.

The shooting took place after a long day of family excursion along the island paradise. On the night of his passing Lindani went on a drive to clear his mind and, according to his wife, probably stopped at a nearby temple.
