Riky Rick is seen as one of Mzansi's most versatile and diverse rappers - his music is often described as the most authentic.

This is one of the reasons why he is so popular and in such high demand. A fan of his recently asked that DJ Maphorisa hit him up and they make music together, and got an unexpected reply.

As reported on by SAHipHopMag, Maphorisa had shared a video of Riky listening to one of his songs, and this prompted the fan to make the request.

Riky gave a short and sweet answer: It's already happening. Judging by the rapper's reply, they've already made more than one song for this project that they are working on.

About two months ago, Briefly.co.za reported that fans who have been eagerly awaiting a collab between rappers AKA and Riky Rick finally got what they've been hoping for.

Although not everyone loved the result, there's an expectation that this collab with Maphorisa will be given a warmer welcome.
