The Citizen quoted Black Coffee:

"So as I’m walking up here, I see this guy. He’s a bum, really, that’s what I’m gon’ call him. You know, these people who live on the streets. Not everyone who lives on the street is a bum, but this guy, he’s a bum. He asked me for a dollar and I tell him I don’t have it. He says: ‘What the f*ck are you doing here then if you don’t have a dollar?’ I ask him what do you mean. He says: ‘What are you doing up here? You’re not supposed to be up here, you’re black.’ He’s a bum."

While he was in the US, Black Coffee also made an appearance on the talk show of Trevor Noah, the popular SA-born funny man, The Daily Show.

Briefly.co.za reported that his interview with Trevor hit South Africans right in the feels.

Both stars spoke highly of Mzansi and how they are trying to get the world to see just how incredible their homeland is. The people of Mzansi were filled with pride and patriotism after watching the interview.
