South African Finance Minister (who also doubles as a social media chef) Tito Mboweni has once again taking to his favourite micro-blogging app, Twitter, to show off one of his infamous homemade meals.
Almost as if he is impervious to all the criticism around his cuisine, Tito seems to continue sharing his favourite home-cooked meals with his followers who never shy away from reminding the minister just how much they don't think he can cook.
And like clockwork, as soon as Mboweni shared the picture of his set table, pap and gravy meal ready to be devoured as well as a glass of deep red wine, which he captioned:
"Oh! Table setting and how it ended. Done and cleaned out! A simple meal."
Twitter users were in the comment section reminding Mboweni that he is no chef. Read a few of their comments below.
"Uncle Tito, do you know that you have money?"
"You ate a proper meal just a few days ago from Cape Town now you back to eating garlic and a bit of fish."
"Fork and knife just for pap and tin fish, have you forgotten your ways Minister?"
Recently Briefly.co.za also reported, Tito Mboweni recently shared a picture of himself and Governor Kganyago having what he explained to be a small dinner at an unknown restaurant. In his post, he then goes on to explain that the EFF's Floyd Shivambu decided to gatecrash the little gathering.SA impressed with man who got 93% in mathematics: "Albert Einstein"
Watching an EFF leader and an ANC leader dine together is certainly not a sight South Africans get to see every day, especially since both parties have enough beef to open a well-sized butchery. Even more surprising is that Mboweni called Shivambu a "good young man."
"After a long but therapeutic drive from Cape Town to Johannesburg, a smallanyana dinner with Governor Kganyago. Then @FloydShivambu just invades us! Eish!! These young people! Nice convo though. Good young man," he wrote in his Twitter post.
