Mzansi has reacted to a video of Emtee seemingly drunk after he recently alleged that his wife, Nicole Kendall Ndevu, has been physically abusing him. The rapper took to social media this week to share with his fans that his wife and mother of two kids has been abusing him for some time now.

The video was released by the parody Twitter account @AdvoBarryRoux late on Wednesday, 18 November. @AdvoBarryRoux claimed that Emtee is making false accusations about his wife. The account further said that Emtee's problem is "his drug abuse."

Emtee says threats continue to pour in after claiming abuse by wife
"Emtee is making false accusations about his wife, she is not abusing him, the problem is his drug abuse. The wife is trying so hard to maintain the marriage but Emtee is messing everything up because of drug abuse."

Tweeps shared mixed reactions after seeing the video. Check out some of their comments below:

@BMacbel wrote:

"Maybe she's the one who pushed him to these levels, what kind of a wife would expose their man when he is at his lowest point. When she's supposed to be his pillar. You're pushing him over the edge. Where's his family? Friends, you gotta save him from the monster wife please."

@ThrowbackThu_ZA said:

"This guy is clearly going through a lot. If he says his wife is abusing him, who are we to say it's false. The sad double standards here."

@TheGoAtofHCSA commented:

"Why would she take a video of such an act? The wife always knew Emtee might expose her, so she gathered evidence so that when he start talking she will have leverage."

@EnnetteGwala added:

"Stop it! Please stop. Just because he's an alcoholic/druggie, it doesn't mean that he's not abused."

Emtee has also reacted to the video. The Roll Up hitmaker denied that he was drunk when the video was taken.

"I wasn’t drunk! I don’t drink liquor AT ALL. That was a 2-litre Fanta Pine. Relax! Might’ve been high, not drunk. I’m glad she posted it cos as you can see in the video I’m very calm and at the end I walked away. I didn’t respond or talk back bruh. I tried my best to be mature."

In related news, Briefly.co.za earlier reported that Emtee's wife, Nicole Kendall Ndevu, has taken to social media to share her side of the story amid allegations that she has physically abused her husband. Nicole released a statement refuting the claims and accusing Emtee of trying to destroy her life.
