The Uruguayan player has said that he has spoken to Sundown numerous times, there is an offer on the table but the team does not want to let Sirino go according to SunSport.

"It is my intention [to leave],” Sirino told Laduma. “But it does not depend on me, but on Sundowns to accept the offer.”

The Sundowns are also not happy with how Sirino has portrayed the club according to Times Live.

“We are disappointed with the manner in which Gaston has conducted himself by going to the media,” said Singh, who suggested that Sirino may be punished.
“We don’t think that he is doing this thing on his own. He is being coached by outside forces who are messing up his mind.
“Rules in the club apply to every single player, they are clearly stated in the player's contract. Making negative statements in the media that could bring the club into disrepute will never be tolerated and consequences will follow.”

Time is running out, the transfer window ends in South African on Monday the 6th of December.

The Sundowns have not played Sirino this season and the club has said they are not side lining him but are concerned after he suffered a hamstring injury.

Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that Gaston Sirino is set to join Al Ahly, reuniting with Mamelodi Sundowns former coach Pitso Mosimane.

The only obstacle is Sundowns who want more money, they are hoping to get R60 million for the transfer of Sirino.

The soccer star from Uruguay is a fan favourite in South Africa and Al Ahly realise his potential, with a foreign slot open in the team for him.
