While Lwazi himself shared a very touching and lengthy post as a tribute to his career as an esteemed rugby player. In his post, he thanked all the people who have accompanied him on his journey in the sport.

"First and foremost, all glory to God. Without his blessings and protection, I wouldn't be where I am today. This journey with the black and white began as a fan, advanced into a student, and came full circle as a player.
"It has been an incredible journey filled with great memories. Nothing has been easy, been told countless times by many that I would never make it as a professional and that I was too small to make it. Little did they know they were fueling the fire and the determination to become a Shark," wrote Lwazi.

Meanwhile, fans have had this to say about the sweet post:

In other Briefly.co.za sports news, South African-born football coach Pitso Mosimane's Egyptian team Al Ahly just missed the opportunity to play in the Fifa World Cup finals after they suffered a thorough defeat at the hands - or rather feet - of Bayern Munich at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in Doha, Qatar, on Monday this week.

While many hopes were high after Mosimane was able to get the team to the semi-finals, it was soon deflated as Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski scored the first goal against Al Ahly in the first 17 minutes of the game.

While the Egyptian side tried valiantly to stand their ground, the team suffered a big blow when Ali Ma’aloul got injured and was replaced by Yasser Ibrahim. Not too long thereafter Lewandowski was back at it and scored yet another brilliant goal, securing the win for the European champions.
