Emily Hein-Visagie took the #ImStaying group on Facebook to share her inspiring story about how she was able to help out an elderly couple.

She was behind the couple at the till and noticed that the cashier was ringing back some toiletries the couple couldn't afford.

Emily took the opportunity to do a good deed and paid for the items which included bath soap, toothpaste, lotion and roll on.

She asked the cashier to ring their items up with hers and handed them to the elderly couple who were very grateful.

They waited outside the store to introduce themselves and thanked Emily for her good deed.

"Yesterday I went to PNP to buy a few things. I was standing behind a pensioners couple who was ringing up their groceries. With a shock, I saw how the cashier rang back their toiletries because they did not have enough money. Bath soap, toothpaste, lotion and roll on. I immediately got tears in my eyes when I realised that this was actually necessities. After they paid for the other stuff I ask them not to leave. I let the cashier ring the toiletries first and I gave it to them. The look on their faces was priceless. They actually waited for me outside the shop to introduce themselves to me and they could not thank me enough. I was so glad i could make somebody's day. That's why I'm staying."

"Amazing...We must be a country that looks after our young and our old. God bless you superhuman!!!"

Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that Eva R Lebese is proof that real heroes don't wear capes. She felt terribly sorry for the young children who walked past her house in worn-out shoes.

She felt that she needed to do something for kids in need. Every little bit counts, and she was fortunate enough to buy 16 pairs of shoes.

Now she will be donating the shoes to 16 pairs of feet that desperately need them.
