Hillary Clinton Reminds Conservatives They Once Tried to Cancel French Fries

- Hillary Clinton took to Twitter to remind Republicans that "cancel culture" is not unique to the Democratic Party

- She posted a tweet referring to when the Republican party tried to cancel French fries after France refused to support the war in Iraq

- This was in response to recent criticism of the decision Dr Seuss Enterprises' took to halt the publication of six Dr Seuss books

Hillary Clinton has reminded those who are complaining about cancel culture that at one point the Republicans tried to cancel French fires after the French opposed the Iraq war in 2003.

They had wanted to rename French fries to freedom fries in protest of the French not supporting the invasion.

"The party of "Freedom Fries" would like you to know that "cancel culture" is a very serious problem."

Recently, a lot of conservatives have opposed "cancel culture" as Dr Seuss Enterprises' took the decision to halt the publication of six books that had problematic imagery.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) tried to pin the blame for the decision on US President Joe Biden.

Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that American Independent Party (AIP) chairman Markham Robinson has revealed that the party is set to nominate former US President Donald Trump as their flagbearer in the next election.

This is, however, dependent on whether the Republican chooses to front himself as a presidential candidate in 2024. The AIP has been in existence since 1960 when it fronted Alabama governor George Wallace to vie for the presidency. The AIP also fronted Lester Maddox as their flagbearer in the 1970s.

In the presidential election of 2016, the same party made him their nominee in California, America's most populous state, despite him being a Republican candidate.

In other news, members of the Green Party feel The Rock does not stand a chance of becoming US president. Its leaders said the star does not have all it takes to lead the country.

According to Green Party spokesperson Michael O'Neil's, The Rock will be floored very early should he join the presidential race.

O'Neil held that The Rock can only win if he is willing to stand up to billionaires and fight for everyday people, the poor.
