Below are some reactions to his post:

@AkuaBarbito:

"Although this is a beautiful gesture, I think it’s important for both to put in the effort to hold each other down and pamper each other. Being independent and having a partner who is also independent.. is a win win. Just a balance in case something happens as well."

@desean_hughes:

"N*gga you rich, you can afford to do that sh*t lol."

@ConfidentShine_:

"You not old school. It’s the proper thing to do. In almost every culture this belief is applied but in the black community it’s “frowned upon” or idk what to call it. Its proven that 90% of African American women are head of the household. At my PWI we discuss matters like this."

@ImMiss_Che:

"Love that old school mentality...but besides the money, relationships are 50/50. We taking care of each other!"

@alayawhite:

"I'm just thanking the Lord Jesus that there are still men out here that do not mind doing this for a woman deserving of it. "

The couple were set to marry in March 2007, but the engagement was called off in June 2006.

The rapper later became involved in a relationship with Tiffney Cambridge, a sixth-grade teacher. The relationship lasted eight years and they have two children together.

A while ago, he took to social media to address men about how to stay faithful to one woman.

Taking to his Twitter page, the entertainer stated that these days, there are beautiful women all over the world, so it is easy to find one and later think that another woman is better than her.

The rapper continued by saying that the availability of these women and greed is the reason men keep changing partners until they finally lose them all.
