Facebook user Journalist Mzobe shared a heartwarming story of how a Checkers employee named Sbusiso helped him in a time of need.

After finishing work late and having no battery power to get the funds he needed to return home, the man did not know where to turn. A total stranger working at Checkers helped the man out by giving him the money he needed to get home with no guarantee that he would get it back.

Having been shown such great kindness, the man gave Sbu double what he lent him and thanked him publicly on social media.

Briefly News got in contact with Sbusiso Mzobe, the man who shared the story. He told us that these are the acts of kindness that Mzansi needs more of as out people have been through enough pain and suffering.

"We really need such people in our country. We have been through a lot. Suffering from Gender base violence, Covid-19 and we lost many people so having such people like that good Samaritan brings hope to the hopeless."

Sbu went on to express what he feels everyone can learn from the kindness he was shown.

We can learn a lot from that Good Samaritan (Sbusiso) that "Motho ke motho ka batho" in English means a person is a person through other people... That man Sbusiso deserves everything good. I wish karma does him well.. Find more people to help him."
