Solskjaer has found himself on the receiving end in recent days after United recording a number of unconvincing results across competitions.

The Red Devils are winless in three Premier League matches, suffering a shock home defeat to Aston Villa before they followed up that result with a 1-1 draw against Everton at the weekend.

Fascinatingly, despite the side's mixed results, they are still fourth on the standings and just two points off the top spot.

Be that as it may, Liverpool hero Didi has described United's recent performances as pathetic, insisting he does not see Solskjaer lasting long.

Hamman's prediction on Solskjaer's sack

"Now I believe the pressure on the manager will grow a lot. I believe it is a matter of when – not if – they sack him because he has been there too long for you not to see any progression," he told SkySport.

According to Didi, the Red Devils boast immense talent and experience within their ranks but Solskjaer is unable to utilise them properly.

"They still play the same football which is not good to watch. That is not Manchester United," Didi observed.
"I think there will be a change of manager soon. Whether the new manager will be able to utilise their potential, we will have to see," he added.

United are scheduled to take on Leicester City in their next Premier League fixture before hosting Atalanta in their third group tie of the Champions League.

Solskjaer's reason for dropping Ronaldo to the bench

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has defended his decision to drop Cristiano Ronaldo for Man United's draw against Everton, claiming he needed to freshen things up after their Champions League game with Villarreal in midweek, Euro Sport.

The Norwegian manager dropped five players that starred in the 2-1 win against Villarreal at Old Trafford including Ronaldo, Paul Pogba, Alex Telles, Diogo Dalot and Jadon Sancho.
