While the rest of the Bafana Bafana team were suiting up for the PSL Awards, the team’s midfielder Dean Furman was getting ready for a different celebration.

Furman tweeted on Sunday on his wedding to long-time girlfriend Tash Howarth.

And Tweeps best wishes came streaming in.

Leading up to the special moment, the midfielder couldn’t resist and tweeted about how excited he was.

Avalanche Media hosts the awards annually, the South African public get to nominate and vote for their preferred choices. In order for an entrant to be considered they need to be between the ages of 15 and 40 and should be able to inspire the youth of South Africa.

Furman was born on 22 June 1988. He plays as a midfielder for SuperSport Unitedin the Premier Soccer League.

He made his debut for the South Africa national team in 2012, representing the nation at two Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.
