Hazard and 5 others shortlisted for Premier League September best player award

- The Premier League did not name any player from Manchester United and Liverpool

Six football stars have been shortlisted to fight for September 2018 best Premier League player award.
Chelsea star Eden Hazard is among these six players after scoring five Premier League goals for the Blues last month.
The name of Englishman Raheem Sterling is also on the list, while the other four players are Willy Boly, Everton's Gylfi Sigurdsson, Leicester City's James Maddison and Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette.

While announcing the names of the six players on social media, the Premier League failed to pick any player from Liverpool and Manchester United.
The likes of Mohamed Salah, Pogba, Firmino and Lukaku have not been impressive this season for their clubs in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Manchester City are currently topping the Premier League standings with 17 points after seven games played, and they will face Liverpool on Sunday, October 7.

Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was shortlisted among the four managers contending for the Premier League manager of the month for September.
Other managers in contention for the prestigious prize are Arsenal boss Unai Emery, Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool) and Wolverhampton Wanderers Nuno Espirito Santo.
