South Africans were losing it after seeing Patrice Motsepe rubbing shoulders with President Donald Trump and Fifa boss, Gianni Infantino, at a dinner during the 2020 WEF in Davos.

Patrice Mostepe, who owns the Mamelodi Sundowns, was among a select group of business leaders who dined with President Donald Trump.

Motsepe sat near the US president, with only the boss of Fifa separating them. According to iHeartRadio, Motsepe said:

"All I wanted to say is that Africa loves America. Africa loves you."

The White House shared a couple of videos of President Trump discussing soccer and Mzansi spotted Motsepe next to the Fifa boss.

Briefly.co.za gathered the Mzansi Twitter streets were sent into a frenzy after South Africans spotted Motsepe sitting with the US president and Fifa boss.

Silindile Buthelezi, who goes by the Twitter handle @SilindileXulu, commented:

"Our rich uncle and the original breadwinner #PatriceMotsepe."

Thato Tsetsewa, @thatotsetsewa, added:

"Our national breadwinner - #PatriceMotsepe on the same table with @realDonaldTrump."

Levhuwani Nhlambo, @mulevhuwe, wrote:

"I'm happy our own #PatriceMotsepe is sitting next to the Fifa's President. I don't even want to ask who sent him there or whom was he representing? Keep on representing us Baba."
