Photos displaying the state of a Limpopo road have gone viral. The images reveal a road in terrible condition as it was littered with potholes as far as the eye can see. Stunned social media users reacted strongly.
The Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) has reported that more than 300 South Africans have been arrested so far, on the grounds of driving while intoxicated.
The Road Traffic Management Corporation has proposed several changes to driving laws to curb road accidents. Among them are revising the K53 learner's licence and retesting drivers every five years when they renew their licences.
